With Thanksgiving less than two weeks away, it’s time to really sit down and start planning… or rather, stuffing. We got you covered with these trending Thanksgiving tips.

Green Bean Casserole

Everyone loves green bean casserole. That is – until the kids find out it’s made with real green beans – yuck!! This traditional thanksgiving dish has passed the trial of time because of its distinguished savory, creamy crunch. Bake until it is hot and bubbling. A full recipe can be found here.

What Goes With Bacon? Turkey.

Please – could we really have missed the staple of Thanksgiving? The turkey has been recreated in a number of different ways – but recently has been paired with bacon to give it that extra umph. In this instance, wrapping your turkey in maple bacon while roasting will give the bird a noticeable crunch. The distinct, sweet flavor of maple will also help to compliment the other savory flavors of turkey.

Chocolate Pecan Pie

It’s easy to forget about desert when we’re carrying 20 pounds of turkey in our tummies. Mix it up this year by putting a common sense spin on a classic: chocolate pecan pie. As the name suggests, this take on the classic pecan pie incorporates the bittersweet flavors of chocolate to compliment the nutty pecan flavor of the pie. This is accomplished by mixing chocolate pieces with butter to create a chocolate mixture which is then blended into the rest of the filling. For a full recipe, see this link.
